Frank Lloyd Wright and Japanese Art is the first film to explore the important relationship between Japanese aesthetics and the philosophy of America's foremost architect. Wright's love affair with Japanese art is documented through accounts by his apprentices and scholars of Japanese art, as well as tapes of Wright discussing Japanese art (heard publicly for the first time), and illustrated through renderings of Wright's work, Japanese artwork from his collection, and original footage from Japan.
